Pay it Forward with Frooze Balls

Pay if Forward with Frooze Balls - Social Distancing - Help to Others - Food Insecurity

At the urging of public and health officials, many of us have been advised to stay home and maintain a generous social distance from the important people and places in our lives. Some have heeded the caution, while others saw it as a green light to ravage local grocery shelves to set up their own stock pile of goods.

As a producer of snacks in the grocery, this response was particularly troubling to see. While in theory, we’d love to see our products fly off shelves, in practice we want to participate in a world where more people have access to nutritious, plant-based food sources. So we’ve decided to do something about it.

Today, Frooze Balls is providing a deep discount of 15% for more customers to access our snacks with the code: 4wardwithFB. The goal with this initiative is not for individuals to hoard their own supply, but to help get healthy food into the hands of those who need it right now - those who got to the grocery *after* the frenzy and wondered where their next week’s meals would come from. We encourage gifting variety packs to health care workers, couriers, delivery drivers, teachers, grocery store clerks, and others who are working hard to help hold our communities together in a challenging time.

We believe that people are inherently good and that food should be inherently healthy and delicious. We produce nutritious snack balls made with raw ingredients for healthy, active lifestyles in part, because of these beliefs. Further, in a time when many of us are limiting our trips out, and grocery items are used with caution, it is worth noting that because Frooze Balls are vegan and made using plant-based sources, they are shelf-stable and can be kept for however long you need them to be. Unlike other heavily processed snacks, Frooze Balls utilize ingredients that can last on a shelf, in a backpack, or in your pocket.

We encourage you to use this opportunity to prepare and plan for your health, as well as the health of your neighbor and community.
